Genre
Type or style of a movie, e.g. romance, action, comedy, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, etc. Some movies have overlapping genres, so there is no hard and fast rule in terms of how you classify a movie's genre.

Glossary
(1) a list of terms in a special subject, field, or area of usage, with accompanying definitions, or (2) such a list at the back of a book, explaining or defining difficult or unusual words and expressions used in the text. (Dictionary.com)

The Golden Age of Cinema
Specifically, Hollywood between 1930 to 1950. It is widely considered to be a time when most of the best American movies in history were made. Example:
Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, The Maltese Falcon, The Wizard of Oz, etc.

Grindhouse
Also known as Exploitation Movies. A movie genre characterised by sensationalistic displays of sex and violence, popular during the Seventies in the US. Also the name and genre of Quentin Tarantino's and Robert Rodriguez's flopped 2007 movie.
