| However, this movie is not for everyone because some people might not get it at all or find it insulting. People who like movies like Jackass or any Monty Python movies would definitely love this. It's like a modern version of Monty Python movies with Jackass filming style and of course the Blair Witch (e.g. Borat in Jew's home). Excellent movie for a good laugh. | Beans and bananas Borat is definitely the greatest idiot of the century! Anyone who said that Mr. Bean is the king of all idiots, wait till they see Borat in action! Sacha Baron Cohen is really a real versatile actor when it comes to imitating or playing another character and making it as stupid as possible. The difference between him and Mr Bean is that Mr. Bean is more to 'banana jokes' (the ones that are very direct and easily understandable), but Borat is more to indirect and direct jokes with pure ignorance and 'sub urban' stupidity. |

| The starting of Borat was already quite humourous because he has this weird hairstyle and moustache, which could make Tom Selleck look really weird. The movie was filmed The Blair Witch Project style, trying to make the interviews with the villagers of Kazakhstan looked as real as possible and making the audience feels that Borat belonged to the community. It felt like an insult to the people of Kazakhstan, but hey, i wouldn't know Kazakhstan existed if not for this movie! Anyway, i really respect how he could think of all the stupid things like wearing tight outfit while playing ping-pong and bathing in the river and stuff. Those are the creativities of stupidities, which we would love to watch. |

| The filming style and jokes are also very Jackass styled: filming stupidity and pranks in public without their knowledge. Some of his jokes came directly from his previous movie Ali G Indahouse. I'm not surprised; because Mr. Bean did the same by using some of his jokes from his popular Mr. Bean series for Bean – The Movie. Borat really acted like sakai when he went to the states, acted as if he came from the jungle and completely not knowing what modern civilization is all about. I really had a good laugh throughout the movie... especially the part where he and the fat guy fought bare naked while doing 69s and also chasing each another all the way into the hotel lift and into the seminar hall before getting caught. It was a good combination having a skinny and fat guy fighting naked... it's damn funny – all started because of the fatso (could play Clemenza in The Godfather) jerking off on a Pamela Anderson photo! What an idiot! This joke is actually something like one of Mr. Bean episodes where his hotel room door got locked and he ran naked in the hotel. Of course there are other funny scenes that are really worth watching; i can't explain further, you guys have to watch it yourself! |
