Only one fist in the air Rocky is very mild compared to Raging Bull. It's more like a 'morale' boosting kinda movie with a great sense of encouragement and intensity that makes you get out of your feet, bounce around and go jogging the next morning or maybe sign up for a boxing class after watching the gig. Unlike Raging Bull where the person watching it might end up becoming violent and probably become a gangster or something.

Stallone is really a fan of boxing, he even had a friendly sparring with former heavy weight champion Joe Frazier (but unfortunately K.O-ed in the first round) and actively involved in the reality show The Contender. It's also a very Americanized movie with songs like 'the eye of the tiger' to rise the spirits of Americans (when Rocky is training), Apollo Creed (must've gotten his name from Nasa) and some other stuff which i can hardly remember. Rocky fought with different opponents in all his Rocky movies, but the boxers with bad hair days are Mr.T and Captain Ivan Drago. Captain Ivan (Russian Guy) is definitely the funniest villian of all, cause he looks like a rip off from a Roxette magazine.

And of course, the Americans have to win in the end but of course they have to make the Russian looked good at first, and predictably, Rocky just has to get better at the last minute of the movie (also in his other Rocky movies). And everytime Rocky wins a match at every ending of a Rocky movie, a seemingly familiar winning music will escort him as he clenches his two fists up to the air, at the end of every match, in every Rocky movie...
